New Prospects for the Future of El Gouna
At the Community Forum, moderated by Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schäfer, there were presented several projects, which deal with the future development of El Gouna in terms of: Climate Resiliency; Sustainable & Carbon Neutral

Destination; Sustainable Mobility. Reports were done by Dr.-Ing. Wulf-Holger Arndt (Technische Universität Berlin), Prof. Dr. Sahar Sodoudi (Freie Universität Berlin), and Prof. Dr.Ines Carstensen (SRH University of Applied Sciences Berlin).

 

 

It was the first time that the community has been involved in the design process through an interactive workshop. The community explored advantages and disadvantages of residing in El Gouna of different groups in regard to their problems and needs. Interactive solutions were enthusiastically discussed which builds up each field in the end.
