The players enjoyed playing in a perfect weather conditions with 27 degrees and light wind, the event ended with a prize giving ceremony while having a tasty dinner and serenaded by magical violin music.
This year’s tournament is backed by The Financial Times, National, Titanic Hotels and clothing partner Ruck & Maul. The winners of the qualifiers progress to the grand finals in Antalya in November, where they will have the chance to secure a place in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am. The qualified will fly Business Class on Turkish Airlines and stay at the five-star Titanic Golf Deluxe Hotel.
Duane Beattie will represent Hurghada there after winning the competition with 45 points, while Laurent Bertourne was runner-up, Massimo Finamore was third. The Nearest Pin competition on the 5th hole was won by Lee Kennedy for the men and Charlotte Bertourne for the women on the 3rd hole. Vincent Braibant won the lowest gross score with 75.
