Sherif Lotfy, the well-known ex hotelier and entrepreneur from Egypt, took another step in his interesting career. After opening the Moby Dick Restaurant more than 2 decades ago in Hurghada, he established Moby Dick Catering, the most successful private airline catering in Egypt. His success in business allowed him during the last years to follow his hobbies deep sea fishing and photography.

Together with his friends Amr El Kady from Cairo, an active member of National Geographic Society since 2011, and Hazem El Mihy, a photographer and artist from Alexandria, Sherif Lotfy exhibited a selection of their photos “Les joyaux cachés de l'Egypte” (The hidden jewels of Egypt) at the Egyptian Cultural Center in Paris (Le Centre Culturel Egyptien à Paris) in May 2018.
